The Story of Purrbaby Candles

In the good city of Portland, Oregon Purrbaby Candles is striving to provide cat friendly candles.  If you are sensitive to scents no worry as Purrbaby Candles has many unscented candles strictly using natural wax.  My scentless candles are hypo-allergenic.

As I grow my small business, my ambition is to provide quality candles.

Did you know rose essential oil is known to fight anxiety and relax your mind and body?  Using soy and beeswax (soon coconut wax) contributes to clean-burning with lasting results.  Did you know beeswax is the ONLY wax to purify the air?  Beeswax produces negative ions which attach to positive ions such as dust, dust mites, smoke, allergens and pollen.  Once attached, the negative ions bring the positive ions to the floor.  Neutralizing odors is another benefit.  Soy and beeswax are both non-toxic and better fur the environment.
My mission is to also bring awareness to pet owners as to which scents are suitable for pets.  Before creating Purrbaby Candles I would buy cheaper candles having no regard of what was in those candles.  Being a pet lover I started researching candle wax and paying attention to labels.  Big names use paraffin wax all the time.  My issue is most of those candles release toxins such as toluene and benzene (carcinogens) into the air.  Realizing I wanted better burning candles my interest turned to my cats.  How are they being affected by the wax and scents I decide to put in the air?  Delving deeper into my studies I knew my path was to create Purrbaby Candles inspired by my own purr babies.

As a business Purrbaby Candles wants to do more.  Part of our proceeds will be donated to Animal Aid, Cat Adoption Team and Pixie Project to start.  Enjoy quality candles and help local pets in need.
